Sara Mazzuoccolo

Mrs. Mazzuoccolo holds a degree in Political Sciences (International Relations) from the University of Milan, Italy. Mrs. Mazzuoccolo has spent 2 years with Novartis Pharma in the Mature Products business unit and has joined APR in 2006. Mrs Mazzuoccolo currently serves as head of licensing operations, she is responsible for all the out-licensing activities at worldwide level with the exception of North & Latin America.


Paolo Galfetti

CEO and Member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Galfetti holds an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) from the Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. He has in addition achieved the distinction of CFA (Chartered Financial Accountant). Mr. Galfetti gained practical and managerial experience in a number of sectors such as clinical research, pharmaceutical discovery and development, business development and licensing as well as operational strategic management and restructuring. Mr. Galfetti joined APR in 1995 as head of licensing and business development and was appointed to chief executive officer in 2002. Mr. Galfetti is member of several Pharma Licensing groups and has been a speaker at a number of international conferences in the pharmaceutical field.


Aldo Donati

Mr. Donati holds a degree in Political Sciences (International Relations) from the University of Florence-Italy and completed post-graduate courses in Business Administration, Strategic Management and Negotiation at MIT, Columbia, Wharton and Rider College. Mr. Donati has over twenty years of international management experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Devices industries. He has held executive positions in Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Licensing and General Management with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Sigma-Tau and King Pharmaceuticals. He has managed companies and organizations around the world and is a founder of Compass Pharmaceutical LLC, an international Marketing Services company located in Charlotte North Carolina. Mr. Donati has joined APR in 2007 after a number of years of working with the company on a contract/consulting basis. Mr. Donati serves as Vice President of APR USA and Head of Licensing and Business Development for North and Latin America.


Giorgio Reiner

Head of R&D. Mr. Reiner holds a graduate degree in pharmaceutical chemistry and technology from the University of Pharmacy in Milan, Italy. He has completed post graduate courses in toxicology as well as in cosmetic technology. Mr. Reiner is author of scientific publication and inventor or co-inventor of 15 patents covering synthesis processes, drug delivery technologies and pharmaceutical compositions and formulations. He has over 20 years of work experience in Research and Development in areas including organic drug synthesis, pharmaceutical process development and analytical control. Mr. Reiner has joined APR in 2000 and currently serves as director of research and development.


Valentina Reiner

Member of the Board of Directors. Ms. Reiner holds a B.Sc. in pharmaceutical chemistry and technology from the Chemical Engineering Institute of Fribourg, Switzerland, has authored several scientific publications and is co-inventor on a number of patents in the pharmaceutical field. Ms. Reiner has over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical development, clinical research and regulatory affairs, joined APR in 1997 and currently serves as head of clinical and regulatory operations.


Massimo Poletti

Mr. Poletti holds a degree in business administration from the Bocconi University in Milan, Italy; he started his career in a strategic consultancy group based in Milan focused on training programs for executive. After this he spent over 12 years in fast moving consumer goods companies mainly in an Italian international group , Artsana Chicco, healthcare and baby products market leader. He has held executive position in business development , sales and marketing and managing director in south America. He developed licensing plans with companies such as Ducati, National Geographic and promotional plan with different pharmacies and mass market distribution chains in Europe. Fashion and Apparel luxury brand company complete the experience, project leader of a new teenager brand and concept retail store. Mr. Poletti joined APR in September 2009 as Head of marketing and commercial operations.
